The history of the Caffo distillery begins in the 1800s, when the master distiller Giuseppe Caffo begins to extract precious distillates from the pomace at the foot of Etna. In 1915, the distillery moved to Calabria, settling in Limbadi, not far from the promontory that inspired the name of their flagship product: Capo Vaticano. Over the years, the Caffo Group has continued to grow steadily, thanks to the continuous innovations made to the distillation equipment, creating a rich range of liqueurs that are now famous all over the world.
This variety of Triple Sec is made by distilling the peels of sweet and bitter oranges, with the addition of sugar and pure alcohol.
It is characterized by a rich and fruity aroma, with citrus tones and a slight touch of spice. The taste is soft and well balanced, presenting a slightly contrasting delicacy with the bitterness of the citrus fruits.
Ideal to sip on its own, as an excellent digestive after meals, or it can be used as an ingredient in classic cocktails such as the Margarita or the Cosmopolitan. Furthermore, its intense and fruity aroma makes it a perfect choice for enriching puddings and desserts.
