History
Courvoisier Cognac V.S.O.P. is a cognac produced by the Courvoisier maison, one of the most historic maisons, founded around 1809 by Emmanuel Courvoisier. This maison in particular was visited in 1811 by Napoleon, who wanted his soldiers to have a dose of cognac with them in battle and gave it to some English officers during their visit to St. Helena; from here on, the name of this maison was increasingly linked to that of Napoleon.
Courvoisier Cognac V.S.O.P. represents one of the most produced and sold products of the maison.
Production method
Courvoisier Cognac V.S.O.P. it is produced with grapes from the sub-areas of Petite and Grande Champagne, but also from Fins Bois. The specification requires that the youngest brandy in the blend of a V.S.O.P. is aged at least 4 years.

Usage
Courvoisier Cognac V.S.O.P. it is ideal as a meditation wine or after-dinner/digestive.
It can sometimes be used in mixology for the preparation of luxury cocktails.

Courvoisier Cognac V.S.O.P. it has a clear light amber color to the eye.
On the nose notes of peach in alcohol, toasted almonds and sweet spices. Warm, enveloping in the mouth, with a persistent and elegant finish.
