Description
History
Giulio Ferrari, specialized in oenology in Montpellier, created in 1902 a classic method sparkling wine similar to the French ones, called “Champagne Maximum Sec G. Ferrari”. After his death, the company was inherited by Bruno Lunelli who, thanks to his entrepreneurial skills, was able to produce high quality sparkling wines on a large scale. Today the company is led by the third generation of the family.

Production method
The champenoise or classic method involves two fermentations: the first alcoholic in vats and the second in the bottle with particular yeasts which develop carbon dioxide, creating bubbles.

Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow color with golden reflections, very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose notes of golden apple, pear, citrus fruits, yeasts, bread crust and toasted hazelnuts, with a background of chalky minerality. On the palate it is creamy, fine and enveloping, with a marked freshness and a decisive note on the finish.

Great meditation wine.
