Description
History
The Don Papa rum distillery has roots in the Philippines, precisely on the island of Negros. Founded in 2012 by a group of enthusiasts, it owes its name to Dionisio Magbuelas, known as Don Papa, a hero of the 19th century Philippine revolution. Using locally grown high quality sugarcane, the distillery produces internationally award-winning craft rum. With a combination of tradition and innovation, Don Papa has won the hearts of rum lovers, offering a range of distinctive distillates that reflect the history and culture of the Philippines.
Production method
Independent bottlers select the best batches of distillate from the distilleries (active or sometimes closed) and take care of the refinement and bottling in order to offer products that best tell the individual characteristics of a territory or are aimed at an audience of connoisseurs /passionate.

Tasting notes
Dark amber colour. The nose reveals a soft and rounded profile, characterized by an exceptional expressive maturity. Notes of dried fruit, spices, exotic fruit, sweet caramel and hints of vanilla and wood emerge, giving an extraordinary pleasantness.
Usage
Perfect at the end of a meal or as a meditation. Great as a gift for someone special.
