Description
History
Since 1860, Strega Alberti of Benevento has been producing the famous Strega liqueur, a herbal distillate that boasts a long tradition. The company’s bottle proudly bears the symbol of the Royal House of Savoy, of which the Strega Alberti was one of the official supplies.
Production method
Strega Alberti liqueur is produced by grinding about 70 herbs and spices from all over the world, including Ceylon cinnamon, Florentine Iris and Sannio mint. The distillate is mixed with saffron for the yellow color and aged in oak vats. Once ready, the liqueur is bottled and distributed with an alcohol content of 40%.

Strega Alberti liqueur has a bright golden yellow colour. The nose has an intense and complex bouquet of herbs and spices, including cinnamon, mint and saffron. On the palate it is soft and round, with a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness. There are flavors of aromatic herbs, citrus fruits and spices, and a persistent and delicate finish.
Usage
Strega Alberti liqueur is a versatile product, which lends itself to being enjoyed both on its own, perhaps as a digestive, and as an ingredient for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks.
