Description
History
The gin comes to life thanks to the exciting collaboration between the brothers Lorenzo and Luca Scotto, together with two leading figures in the field of mixology: the talented Tuscan barman Lorenzo Zappi, responsible for the creation of the recipe, and the renowned bartender Oscar Quagliarini, in charge of the development and balancing of ingredients.
For the production, an essential role is played by the Antica Distilleria Quaglia, carrying out a fundamental work.
Production method
To produce gin it is necessary to “aromatize” an alcoholic base with some elements of which one of the components or often the main one is juniper. This can happen in various ways: either through maceration of the botanicals in alcohol, which is then redistilled to find a colorless and “cleaner” product, or the botanicals can be placed in a container placed above the alembic, so that alcohol in the form of vapor extracts aromas and perfumes.

Tasting notes
Clear and transparent. Extremely harmonious and velvety body, it offers an intense perfume in which all the botanical essences and the sensations that have been conferred clearly emerge. On the palate, it stands out for its peculiarity and aroma, with rich savory nuances of sea fennel and a marked balsamic note coming from the mastic tree, perfectly balanced by the citrus element. The finish is long and persistent, in which a slight sweetness coming from the grape brandy is perceived.
Usage
Perfect at the end of a meal or as a meditation drink, excellent for creating high quality refreshing cocktails!
