Capichera is one of the most important and renowned Sardinian wineries in Gallura, located in Arzachena, “nestled” among the granite rocks of the area. Despite having achieved strong commercial success, the company has remained family-run since the 1970s; its peculiarity was the intuition to enhance the pure Vermentino, sometimes vinifying in barrique and giving life to very long-lived wines capable of improving over time. Over the years the company has been able to produce interesting wines also based on red grapes, such as Carignano and Syrah, capable of perfectly representing the territory.
After destemming and soft pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The refinement of Vermentino is carried out in steel.
