Description
History
Tenuta Saiano is a farm located in Montebello di Poggio Torriana, in the province of Rimini, nestled in the Romagna hinterland. The estate is dedicated to preserving and promoting ancient Romagna traditions, producing wines and liqueurs that reflect the authenticity of the territory. Vermouth Demos is the result of collaboration with Baldo Baldinini, an alchemist and perfumer, who created an exclusive recipe for this red vermouth.
Ingredients and production method
Vermouth Demos is made from Saiano IGT red wine, produced on the estate. The process involves infusing natural aromas into alcohol to create the base tincture, which is then blended with the wine. Some aromatic herbs are directly infused into the wine, and the aging takes place in small steel tanks, followed by a period in the bottle. Filtration is minimized to preserve the aromatic qualities of the product.
