Description
History
The Giuseppe Quintarelli farm was born in the early 1900s in Marano di Valpolicella. After the First World War, he moved to the Negrar valley, where Giuseppe continued his father’s business. In the 1950s, Giuseppe took over the leadership of the company and innovated the production techniques, maintaining the historical traditions of the area. In the 1980s, new vineyards were acquired and varieties such as Nebbiolo, Croatina, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon began to be cultivated. The winery is renowned for the creation of wines with great aging potential and liveliness, thanks to the selection of the grapes, the management of the drying process and the traditional winemaking techniques combined with innovation and the pursuit of the highest quality.

Gargano 70%
Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Trebbiano 30%
Production method
The grapes are harvested by hand at different times depending on the variety and the achievement of specific ripeness. The vinification is traditional in white and takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in vitrified concrete. The wine rests on its lees for several months at the end of the fermentation to refine.

Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose notes of tropical yellow fruit of pineapple, peach and apricot, with mineral notes and hints of pastry. On the palate the wine is soft, direct and fresh, with a good structure and a pleasantly acidic finish.
Possible combinations
Quintarelli’s Bianco Secco lends itself to pairing with many dishes: excellent as an aperitif, especially on a warm spring/summer evening, or on fish appetizers such as salmon tartare, smoked salmon, fresh cheeses and fish soups.
