The Bortoluz farm is located in Saccol di Valdobbiadene, right in the heart of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG area. The structure and cellar have existed and have been in operation since the mid-1800s and has been handed down within the same family over the generations; the company with the modern structure as we know it was instead officially founded in 2010. The vineyards are located in the Valdobbiadene area, an area that is suited for the viticulture of Prosecco Superiore despite the steep slopes. Today they lead the Pierina company together with their son Luca.
The grapes come entirely from the Valdobbiadene hills located at 2/300 m a.s.l. After manual harvesting of the grapes and soft pressing, the product is placed in an autoclave where it will carry out both alcoholic fermentation and refermentation, for a total process of 50 days.
Pale straw yellow color with persistent perlage. On the nose notes of delicate white flowers, rose, white peach, apple, pear with some spicy notes. On the palate the wine is decisive and enveloping, with pleasant notes that return to the floral.
Bortoluz DOC Treviso is perfect in combination with fine fish dishes; also ideal as an aperitif or toast with friends.
