Description
History
La Madonnina covers over 70 hectares on the western side of the Bolgherese road, in the area between the Metalliferous Hills and the sea, in the heart of the Bolgheri denomination, at an altitude of only 45 meters above sea level. It is certainly one of the most suggestive and exclusive glimpses of Bolgheri.

Production method
The vinification is done with maceration on the skins for 14 days. Aging is for 16 months in new French oak barriques.

Tasting notes
Intense ruby red colour. On the nose notes of ripe fruit such as cherry, marasca cherry, raspberry, blackberry and blueberry, with herbaceous notes of eucalyptus and mint, minerality and spices such as tobacco, black pepper, vanilla and sandalwood. In the mouth the taste is full, enveloping, decisive and persistent, with well-smoothed tannins and a finish
enveloping.
Possible combinations
In combination it is suitable with red meat dishes, such as grilled meat or even more complex game dishes. But also as a meditation wine.
