Description
History
The Sabatini family is an important family that despite the various activities in marketing and finance has always maintained historical roots in Tuscany and in particular in the city where they come from: Teccognano, not far from Cortona. Here are the historic homes of the family, Villa Sabatini and Villa Ugo. The passion for distillates will then lead them over the years to invest in this sector and to establish themselves with gin and other products on the national and international markets.
Production method
To produce gin it is necessary to “aromatize” an alcoholic base with some elements of which one of the components or often the main one is juniper. This can happen in various ways: either through maceration of the botanicals in alcohol, which is then redistilled to find a colorless and “cleaner” product, or the botanicals can be placed in a container placed above the alembic, so that alcohol in the form of vapor extracts aromas and perfumes.
