History
The Ron Desiderio brand originates in Panama and draws inspiration from a local romantic legend involving Ramon Desiderio and Sierva María. Produced following a small-batch philosophy, each release aims to preserve artisanal quality and character. The 10-year expression represents a classic aged rum with strong identity and approachable elegance.
Raw material
Sugar cane molasses distillate.
Production and ageing
The rum is produced using traditional distillation and aged for at least 10 years in oak barrels, without using the Solera method. Ageing in small batches allows greater control over flavour development and aromatic concentration.

Tasting notes
Deep amber with bronze reflections. The nose shows toasted coffee beans, tobacco, leather and caramel with hints of dates and spices. On the palate it is warm, smooth and enveloping, with notes of cocoa, dried fruit and spices leading to a long finish with subtle smoky and slightly bitter nuances.
Food pairings
Best enjoyed neat as a contemplative rum, paired with dark chocolate or a cigar. It can also be used in structured cocktails or served alongside cocoa-based desserts and dry pastries.
