History
Based in Faedo and San Michele all’Adige in Trentino, Pojer e Sandri work high-altitude vineyards with a strong focus on quality and natural approach. Their Pinot Nero from the “Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT” line reflects the vitality of these cool, well-ventilated sites. The 2024 vintage continues the house’s focus on fruit purity and modern, drinkable style.

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes from vineyards located around 300–700 m elevation on limestone, sandstone and loam soils. Fermented in stainless steel with a modest wood component or steel/wood blend, to retain freshness and clarity. Crafted for relative immediacy.

Tasting notes
Transparent ruby red colour. Aromas of strawberries, raspberries, wild berries, subtle florals. On the palate: smooth, lively, soft tannins, clear fruit and a mineral note adding drive. Finish is fresh, crisp and inviting.
Food pairings
Ideal with grilled white meats, duck, charcuterie, light pasta dishes, mushroom risotto, refined vegetarian fare and fresh or semi-aged cheeses.
