Description
History
Luigi Calatroni in 1964 signs a document that changes his life, allowing him to become the owner of the Pinot Noir vineyards that he had cultivated as a sharecropper for four generations. Today Luigi’s grandchildren, Cristian and Stefano, manage the family business, located in the Valle Versa dell’Oltrepò Pavese, which produces sparkling wines based on Pinot Noir, with particular attention to freshness, ease of drinking and elegance. The production also includes two Riservas, the Poggio dei Duca and the Riserva della Famiglia, both aged on the lees for several years.
Production method
Soft pressing (pressure: 1 bar). At least 20% fermented in Austrian oak barrels. Aging in bottle for at least 48 months. Disgorgement à la glace carried out by our company.

Tasting notes
Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage. Fine and complex bouquet
at the same time. It evolves in the glass from the first flowers to small red fruits. Fresh, savory and persistent,
fully reflects the characteristics of the soil of the vineyard of origin.
Possible combinations
Gourmet sparkling wine, with pairings ranging from traditional meat dishes to oceanic fish.
It amazes with sushi.
