Description
History
Equipped with a solid background and motivated by great enthusiasm, Count Michael Goëss-Enzenberg decided to found his own winery with the aim of producing high-quality and distinctive wines. The process began in the vineyards: to improve quality, the yield was strictly limited and the most natural approach possible was adopted. In 1996, the winery began producing its first six wines. In 2004, the new “cellar under the vineyard” designed by Walter Angonese and Rainer Köberl was inaugurated. It fully represents the philosophy that guides the life and work of the company, becoming a popular destination for wine and architecture enthusiasts.

Tasting notes
Ruby red colour. On the nose it is elegant and fragrant, with notes of small red fruits such as currants, raspberries, morello cherries and strawberries, enriched by subtle spicy accents, sensations of undergrowth and aromatic herbs, mineral and floral nuances. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with complex aromas and a fruitiness characterized by delicate aromatic nuances. The tannins are subtle and well integrated, leading to a long, persistent and fresh finish.
Possible combinations
Perfect on a white or red meat dish, not too structured but still tasty, perhaps enriched with spices, melted cheeses and other flavours.
