History
The recent history of the Niedrist company begins a long time ago in Ronco a Cornaiano, in the splendid Oltradige wine-growing area, as the current estate has belonged to the family for more than 170 years. In 1989 Ignaz and Elisabeth Niedrist will then resume wine production with the aim of producing wines of great depth and quality. New lands were therefore acquired which made it possible to greatly differentiate the variety and styles of the wines produced, with the inclusion, among others, of a Lagrein vineyard. Today the company combines stylistic and qualitative growth with the growth of the family nucleus, seeing the new generations employed: therefore Maria, Franz and Johannes Niedrist are at work, bringing new knowledge and experience to the company.

Production method
The bunches are then transformed into wine through the use of 5 hectoliter barriques and tonneaux in the case of the Chardonnay, while stainless steel tanks are used for the Incrocio Manzoni and the Petit Manseng. Subsequently, the masses are refined in the same containers together with the fine lees for a period of 8 months, before being blended and finally bottled.

Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow colour. The range of smells is intricate, with fragrances of mandarin, ripe pear and flowers that are combined with delicate sweet notes of caramel and vanilla. The palate offers a rich, dense and soft gustatory progression, harmoniously balanced by the lively fresh and savory push that leads to the final sensations of citrus, ripe fruit and sweet spices, in line with the fragrances detected on the nose.
Possible combinations
Excellent in combination with delicate dishes based on asparagus, fresh and medium-aged cheeses, delicate fish dishes such as steamed cod and white meat dishes.
