Description
History
The Brandolini company was founded in 1873 with Mr. Carlo, in the municipality of San Damiano al Colle, where the family still resides today; the activity was then carried on both by grandfather Aristide, first, and by father Costante, subsequently, who led the company until a few years ago, when, a recent graduate, Alessio took over the management of the company, full of ideas and enthusiasm.
The vineyards are mostly located in the municipalities of San Damiano al Colle, while to a lesser extent in the municipalities of Rovescala and Montù Beccaria, for a total of 9 hectares. The cultivated varieties are: Barbera, Croatina, Uva Rara, Pinot Noir for red vinification, Malvasia, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir for white vinification. The company policy is based on quality, in all stages of processing.

Method of Production
This wine is produced only in favorable years using exclusively 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested in 18 kg boxes and subjected only to the first pressing. The wine ages on the fine lees until bottling. After the bottles have been stacked, they remain in contact with the lees until the “remouage” phase. Subsequently, they are disgorged and dosed with the same wine.

Tasting notes
Yellow in color with a copper edge, the impact on the nose is intense with hints of peach, balsamic herbs and star anise. In the mouth it is balanced with good acidity, flavor and persistence.
Possible combinations
Perfect for an aperitif. It goes perfectly with fresh cheeses, fish tartare, steamed shellfish and fish appetizers.
