Description
History
The story behind the name of this product dates back to the 17th century, when a young Spanish noblewoman fled the tumultuous colonial war on the Jamaican island. Her maid managed to save a precious family treasure, a small box containing black pearl earrings and an ancient manuscript with the recipe for a mysterious liqueur. The name Tia Maria was given in honor of that brave woman.

Jamaican liqueur that combines coffee rum with a secret selection of herbs and spices. The aroma is strong but pleasant.

Tasting notes
The flavor is rich, with a predominance of the coffee flavor which is sweetened by a pleasant vanilla aftertaste. The alcohol is perceptible but does not overwhelm the palate. It is an excellent digestif to be enjoyed after dinner and can be used to prepare a variety of cocktails.
Usage
This type of liqueur can be used as an excellent digestive or in numerous cocktails such as Corcovado, Old Coffee, Summer Fun and English Coffee.
