Description
History
Amaro Dente del Leone is a amaro produced by La Valdôtaine, a small artisan distillery in the heart of Val D’Aosta, in Saint Marcel. Of fundamental importance for the production of the company is the proximity to the Acqueverdi spring, a natural source of crystalline water located at an altitude of 1400 meters.
Production method
Obtained from the infusion of dandelion and other alpine herbs in alcohol for a few days, a process which allows the flavoring of the product and the extraction of important aromas, colors and digestive principles and health benefits. Before bottling, sugar is also added in order to balance the final flavour.
Alcohol content
32.6%
Tasting notes
At sight the liqueur has a dark amber color. The aromas on the nose are delicate and pungent, and immediately transport those who smell them to the fresh and relaxing atmosphere of the Aosta Valley Alps; we find very marked dandelion notes together with a nice general freshness. Full and powerful in the mouth, held up by a present but suggested alcohol, not disturbing.
Usage
Ideal as after-dinner and after dinner. Perfect for lovers of elegant and invigorating after-dinner meals. For connoisseurs.
