Description
History
Vermouth di Radda was created through a collaboration between Angela Fronti of Istine and the historic Bordiga distillery. The base is a Sangiovese rosé from Radda vineyards, enriched with 34 botanicals such as wormwood, lavender, sage, ginseng, rose, and citrus. The artisanal approach respects the raw materials: its pink hue comes naturally from the grape skins, with no added coloring. Designed as a “sipping vermouth,” it offers freshness and complexity, more akin to a refined white vermouth than a heavy mixing style.

Tasting notes
Delicate pale pink. On the nose: rose petals, lavender, Mediterranean herbs, citrus peel, and a balsamic touch. On the palate: soft and balanced sweetness with floral and herbal notes, leading to an elegant, pleasantly bitter and persistent finish.
Food pairing
Excellent neat over ice with an orange twist; pairs well with appetizers, raw fish, fresh or semi-aged cheeses. Perfect also in cocktails that call for a distinctive white vermouth.
