Description
History
Vigna Francia is one of Giacomo Conterno’s most prestigious vineyards, located in the Crus Cascina Francia in Serralunga d’Alba, the same source of the estate’s top Nebbiolo Barolos. Until recently this Barbera was labelled as Cascina Francia Barbera d’Alba, but the 2023 vintage firmly established the “Vigna Francia” name to emphasize its cru origin. The wine benefits from traditional practices, meticulous vineyard work, and Conterno’s long‑standing expertise, while maintaining freshness and immediacy.
