Description
History
Delamain Tres Venerable Cognac de Grande Champagne is a cognac produced by the Delamain maison, in Jarnac, France. The maison was founded in 1763 by James Delamain, an Irish immigrant who had moved to France a few years earlier.
This product line belongs to the line of the “Venerable” maison, i.e. cognacs obtained by assembling cognacs from different vintages.
Production method
Delamain Tres Venerable Cognac de Grande Champagne is obtained from the assembly of cognacs from grapes coming only from the sub-area of Grande Champagne (the most suitable for ageing) from several vintages which on average are 45-50 years old, which have therefore carried out very long periods of aging in oak barrels. This contributes to the aromatic uniqueness of the product.
