Description
History
The maison was founded in 1763 by James Delamain, an Irish immigrant who had moved to France a few years earlier.
Created from a blend of spirits invented circa 1950; being classified as X.O. the younger distillates of this product have a minimum aging period of 6 years.
Production method
Cognac produced with distillates from grapes coming exclusively from the Grande Champagne area, one of the most prestigious and suitable sub-areas of cognac for ageing. Once distilled, the distillates undergo an aging period of more than 6 years and then end up in the bottle and give the peculiar aromatic complexity of this product.

Tasting notes
Delamain Cognac X.O. Vesper has an amber color with intense golden reflections. Elegant nose with hints of wood, boisé and vanilla, and other sweet spices, except also referring to berries and dried flowers. Round, ripe and enveloping in the mouth, with an elegant and persistent finish.
Usage
Born as a meditation wine or after-dinner/digestive. It can sometimes be used in mixology for the preparation of luxury versions of some delicious cocktails.
