Description
History
The Vaudon family boasts a long tradition in cognac production, dating back to 1771. Pierre Vaudon, one of the young masters of cognac, leads the company with an environmentally respectful approach, avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers and producing sur lies wines without sulfites. Distillation takes place in classic Charente pot stills with direct fire, while aging utilizes new Limousin oak barrels in the early years, followed by older barrels that no longer impart tannins to the spirit.
