Description
History
The Vaudon family boasts a centuries-old tradition in cognac production, dating back to the mid-1700s. Pierre Vaudon, one of the young masters of cognac, leads the company with an environmentally friendly approach, avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers and producing sur lies wines without sulfites. Distillation takes place in traditional Charente pot stills over direct fire, while aging utilizes new Limousin oak barrels in the early years, followed by older barrels that no longer impart tannins to the spirit.
