Founded around the 70s thanks to the vision of four families of Roman origin, with the aim of revitalizing the area and the vineyards and giving the Chianti Classico the fame it once had. The vineyards extend over an area of about 75 hectares at an altitude ranging from 475-520 m which are the cradle for wines of character. Today the leadership of the company is entrusted to Lorenza Sebasti, daughter of one of the owner family who has taken over the management of the company since 1993. Today it is affirmed among the most dynamic realities of the Chianti Classico, capable of blending together local grapes with international vines, for results of elegance and finesse both in the mouth and on the nose.
The grapes for this wine come from a calcareous soil and the harvest was done by hand. Fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in barriques. After six months on the lees, the white wine is fresh with fruity notes and complexity.
Intense straw yellow to the eye, with intense golden reflections. On the nose ripe yellow ripe fruit, banana, pineapple, mango and orange with hints of tertiary and minerality; flint, white pepper, iodine. Decisive and dry attack on the mouth, with character, it returns with a good softness and then closes the sip with minerality and acidity, which prepare the mouth for the next sip.
Try it with a first course with white summer truffles or with a second course of fish. Excellent with a baked octopus seasoned with spices and herbs.
