Description
History
Tarlant is a small but very excellent maison, rooted in the Champagne region since 1687, when the progenitor Pierre Tarlant began to cultivate the vine. A century later the Talant family moved to Oeuilly, in the Vallé de la Marne, where it contributed, with the first Tarlant Cuvées of the 1920s, to the so-called Révolution Champenoise, that is, to the prestige and excellence of French bubbles in the world. The company was one of the first to promote non-dosed champagnes.

Production method
This champagne is a blend of three of the most famous grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) from vineyards over 50 years old in the Val de Marne. The resulting wines undergo rigorous fermentation in barriques until all the sugars are completely transformed, after which they are refined in the bottle on their lees for at least 6 years. No dosage is added.

This champagne is very versatile: excellent for a classy aperitif, it can however be accompanied with first courses and/or platters of cheeses and cold cuts.
