History
This delicate Italian amaro liqueur is the flagship product of the Caffo Distilleria: the Vecchio Amaro del Capo, a herbal liqueur from Calabria.
It derives from an ancient Calabrian popular recipe which is then modified and improved generation after generation.
Production method
Vecchio Amaro del Capo is obtained through the infusion of 29 herbs and aromas typical of the Calabrian region in which it is produced in alcohol. Among the main ones we mention bitter and sweet orange, mandarin, chamomile, licorice, which give the product that marked note of sweetness.

Usage
Vecchio Amaro del Capo is perfect as a digestive or after-dinner, served iced (even at -20°C).
Vecchio Amaro del Capo can also be used in mixology to prepare particular and excellent cocktails.
Tasting notes
Vecchio Amaro del Capo has a clear, amber colour. On the nose notes of orange peel, herbs, spices. Delicate taste, with bitter notes well balanced by sweet notes.
