Description
History
Cachaca has been produced for over forty years by the historic and renowned Pirassununga distillery, a farm that alone produces over 350,000 tonnes of sugar cane per year in its vast 4,000 hectares of land.
Production method
Deriving from the distillation of sugar cane, Cachaça could be classified, in all aspects, as a rum, with one fundamental distinction separating it from the latter: the total absence of sugar. The latter, in fact, is completely removed from the molasses during the processing phase.
