Tasting notes
At sight the wine is dark ruby red in color with garnet hints. On the nose notes of ripe spices of tobacco, vanilla, coffee, toasting and liquorice, with notes of delicate ripe red fruit of blackcurrant and raspberry, aromatic herbs, cedar and dried flowers. On the palate the wine is robust, enveloping and delicate, with great structure, silky but always bright tannins and a fresh and surprising acidity.
Possible combinations
Excellent as a meditation wine, as it manages to express itself over time. However, it is excellent with important dishes based on red meat or mature cheeses, or with substantial gourmet preparations.
