Cascina Fonda is based in Neive, in the province of Cuneo, in the heart of the Asti Spumante area. The company was founded in 1963 by Secondino Barbero, although it will be the two sons Marco and Massimo who, starting from 1988, will implement the production and quality of the latter, increasing sales and exporting to many countries abroad.
It follows the Charmat Method. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, to preserve the characteristic aromas. Subsequently, the wine undergoes a short maceration to intensify the color and aromas. Finally, the wine is refined and bottled.
Brilliant ruby color with rosy hues. The aroma is dominated by intense fruity and aromatic notes, with an evident presence of cherry and raspberry, followed by a delicate spicy nuance. On the palate, it is just as pleasant, with an inviting freshness and fruity character. The sip is balanced, never excessively sweet or intrusive, giving a balanced and satisfying taste experience.
Ideal to be enjoyed as a dessert or in combination with desserts.
