Description
History
In Burgundy, not everything has centuries-old roots. Domaine La Croix Montjoie was founded in 2009 by Sophie and Matthieu Woillez, young agronomists and oenologists. Their Chardonnay vineyards extend over ten hectares in the commune of Tharoiseau, with a cellar located on the farm of the old castle. They produce different cuvées by selecting the grapes according to the ripeness and age of the vines. The clay-limestone soil produces wines such as Bourgogne Vézelay, Crémant de Bourgogne and Irancy. Since 2014, the use of new barrels has further improved the quality of the Domaine’s wines.

Intense straw yellow color with greenish and golden reflections. Delicate and refined on the nose, characterized by accents of hazelnuts, citrus fruits and white flowers.
