Description
History
The story begins with Bartolomeo, who believes in the potential of his territory, and who chooses to tell it through wine, the Demarie winery is born. A bet – for the economy of the time – to invest in the wine field; however, the first results were not long in coming and, through challenges and satisfactions, Giovanni, Bartolomeo’s son, was also involved in the company. Since then the company has continued to grow on the solid foundations built by his grandfather, and with the philosophy that has always characterized our work: a genuine, traditional production, with an eye to the protection of biodiversity.

Tasting notes
The wine has a garnet color tending towards orange. On the nose hints of very ripe fruit such as raspberry jam, black cherries and small red fruits, and also hints of dried flowers such as violet. It has a mineral sapidity and a bouquet of spices: from black pepper, vanilla, toasted hazelnuts, coffee, tobacco and licorice. Wide, warm, caressing, soft in the mouth, final with good acidity and ripe and elegant tannins. The end of the mouth is once again spicy, persistent and of great substance.
Possible combinations
Possible pairings with second courses of red meat or game, such as braised or baked duck, stews or meats flavored with Langhe truffles.
