Barolo 2016 Giovanni Rosso 75 cl is a wine produced by Giovanni Rosso in Serralunga d’Alba.

Why buy it?

Before it became common to follow the Burgundian approach of vinifying and bottling individual vineyards separately, Barolo producers combined grapes from estate vineyards, often located in different municipalities, to create a single label representative of the winery and company philosophy.

The historic Giovanni Rosso winery, located in the Langhe, has been cultivating vineyards in prized Serralunga d’Alba crus for over a century, with Davide Rosso at the helm since 2001. The philosophy is based on excellence, respecting the terroir. With 10 hectares in the best crus of Serralunga and 6 on Etna, the approach is natural and traditional, avoiding herbicides and using indigenous yeasts and large French oak barrels. The wines, faithful reflections of the territory, are renowned for nobility, balance and global recognition, embodying the elegance and authenticity of Barolo.
