Description
History
This Kerner comes from the Valle Isarco (Eisacktal, Alto Adige) — a region known for strong diurnal temperature swings, mineral-rich soils and high-altitude vineyards that produce refined, crisp white wines. Kerner thrives here, benefiting from slow ripening and aromatic intensity. Valle Isarco crafts this variety with respect, aiming for precision and drinkability.

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes at peak aromatic maturity are fermented in stainless steel under temperature control to preserve freshness and varietal purity. The wine then ages on fine lees for a calibrated period to build texture and complexity, without oak influence, followed by bottle ageing before release.

Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow. Aromas of white fruit (pear, apple), fresh citrus, floral notes and subtle exotic hints, with an elegant mineral thread. On the palate: fresh, savoury and well-balanced with lively acidity, good tension and a clean, persistent finish that invites another sip.
Food pairings
Pairs beautifully with seafood starters, shellfish, sushi and sashimi, white fish carpaccio, delicate risottos, vegetable dishes and fresh or soft cheeses. Also excellent as an elegant aperitif or alongside light Asian cuisine.
