Description
History
This Pinot Nero, known locally in Alto Adige as Blauburgunder, comes from the Valle Isarco (Eisacktal) — a region highly regarded for balanced red wines due to its strong temperature variations, high altitude and mineral-rich soils. Vines are carefully managed to ensure consistent ripeness and a clear expression of terroir.

Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel with temperature control to preserve elegance and aromatic purity. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel or neutral vessels to maintain fruit purity and freshness, followed by a short bottle rest prior to release.

Tasting notes
Bright ruby red. Aromas of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry and strawberry with subtle floral hints, delicate spices and a touch of alpine herbs. On the palate: fresh and harmonious with soft tannins, lively acidity, good roundness and a clean, fruit-driven finish.
Food pairings
Pairs well with grilled white meats, roasted duck, rustic charcuterie, mushroom dishes, flavourful risottos and semi-aged cheeses. Also excellent with alpine and Mediterranean cuisine, and as an everyday wine.
