Description
History
The Motta wine estate is located in the Grosseto region, in Tuscany, and has been owned by the Motta family since the 1980s, precisely since 1987. Originally from Milan, the family manages the La Tartaruga agricultural company with great affection and passion unconditional, as highlighted both in the company symbol and in the labels of their wines. The estate is located right near the Maremma Natural Park, about ten kilometers south of Grosseto. In this privileged position, characterized by an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of vines, the winery takes care of its vineyards while respecting the balance of the ecosystem, nature and the environment.

Production method
Towards the end of August, the grapes are harvested, the cellar follows a particular winemaking technique: half of the grapes are subjected to carbonic maceration, while the other half ferments on the skins for a short period at a controlled temperature. The wine ages in the bottle for approximately three months. The result is a wine with an accentuated aroma, which maintains a fair structure, always remaining pleasant and easy to taste.

Tasting notes
Ruby red with violet hues. Red fruit on the nose, with hints of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. On the palate, the wine is soft and juicy, with a good body and a notable balance in acidity, culminating in a pleasantly bitter finish.
Possible combinations
It pairs well with the dishes on the land menu, especially if characterized by a richness of aromas and a not excessively fatty structure.
