History
The Donna Olimpia estate was founded in the heart of Tuscany, in Bolgheri, one of the most renowned areas for high-quality wine production. Established in 1898, the winery is named after the wife of the Marquis of Incisa della Rocchetta. Today, Donna Olimpia represents a modern and innovative reality, committed to enhancing the territory and producing wines that best express the unique character of the Maremma.

Production Method
The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. After fermentation at controlled temperatures, the wine is aged in stainless steel and partially in French oak barrels. This process preserves the freshness of the fruit while adding delicate aromatic complexity.

Tasting Notes
It displays a deep, bright ruby red color. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle notes of sweet spices and a hint of herbal undertones. On the palate, it is soft and rounded, with balanced tannins and pleasant freshness. The finish is long and harmonious, with a well-persistent fruity sensation.
Suggested Pairings
Tageto is a versatile wine that pairs wonderfully with red meat dishes, roasts, and game. It is also perfect with hearty first courses such as lasagna or pappardelle with ragù, and with aged cheeses. Thanks to its balanced structure, it can also be enjoyed on its own as a conversation wine.
