Description
History
The “Noras” label draws its name from the historic Latino vineyard (Noras = “Latino” spelled backward), one of the most prized crus in the Sulcis region. Santadi meticulously selects the best parcels on sandy‑granite soils and cultivates them to express Cannonau in purity (with a touch of Carignano). In recent vintages the winery aims for harmony among fruit, structure and terroir.
Grape variety
Cannonau 90 %, Carignano 10 %
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature for 12–14 days; maceration with remontages to extract color and tannins. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged ~6 months in second‑use barriques, then another 6 months in bottle before release.

Tasting notes
Deep ruby red with garnet hues. On the nose: ripe dark fruits like blackberry and blueberry, sweet spice, tobacco, cacao and subtle balsamic tones. On the palate: warm, full and smooth, with silky yet firm tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish recalling sweet spice and red earth.
Food pairing
Pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, game, grilled dishes and aged cheeses. Serve at 16‑18 °C, with light decanting to enhance its expression.
