30 hectares in the heart of Tuscany, a stone’s throw from Pienza, nothing is artificial: the farm animals directly take care of the fertilization. The production is also of wine, beer and oil. Balance, respect for natural energies, harmony with the world.
Organic farming, manual harvesting. Vinified with whole bunches, fermented with indigenous yeasts and temperature control. Aging is 12 months in 500-litre used oak tonneaux.
Intense ruby red colour. On the nose notes of red fruit raspberries, cherries, ripe berries, violets, herbaceous hints, roasting spices, black pepper and cloves. In the mouth it is enveloping and ample, lively, with great freshness, elegant tannins. Long and fruity finish.
In combination it is excellent with first courses based on meat sauce, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses.
