30 hectares in the heart of Tuscany, a stone’s throw from Pienza, nothing is artificial: the farm animals directly take care of the fertilization. The production is also of wine, beer and oil. Balance, respect for natural energies, harmony with the world.
Organic farming, manual harvesting. Vinified with whole bunches, fermented with indigenous yeasts and temperature control. Aging is 12 months in 500-litre used oak tonneaux.
Intense ruby red colour. On the nose notes of red fruit, blackberries, cherries, ripe berries, violets, roasting spices, pepper and cloves, herbaceous notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied, silky and ample, lively, with good acidity, elegant tannins. Long and fruity finish.
In combination it is excellent with first dishes based on meat sauce, roasts, medium-aged cheeses.
