Description
History
La Maison du Rhum offers a selection of very high quality rums intended for lovers of the spirit in all its variations. Each rum tells its story through the origin and talent of the master distillers, who guide the choice of François-Xavier Dugas.
Production method
To produce an “industrial” rum (this is what the rums produced in the islands of former Spanish domination are called) molasses is used, which is often nothing more than the residues of sugar beet after processing for the production of the latter. This is then fermented, a must is created and distilled. Subsequently these can be aged in wood and then created a blend of rums of varying degrees of aging in order to find a perfect balance.
