Description
History
Produced by the historic Produttori del Barbaresco cooperative, founded in 1958 in the heart of the Langhe, this Nebbiolo is made from vineyards across the classic Barbaresco communes (Barbaresco, Neive, Treiso and parts of Alba). The cooperative brings together many small growers to produce wines with strong regional identity and consistent quality rooted in Piedmontese winemaking tradition.
Grape variety
Nebbiolo 100%
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel with temperature control and a measured maceration to extract fresh aromatics and balanced structure. After natural malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel or neutral vessels to retain freshness and aromatic clarity, followed by bottle rest before release.
Alcohol content
Approx. 13.5%
Tasting notes
Bright ruby red. Aromas of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry and strawberry with subtle floral notes of rose and gentle spice. On the palate: fresh, flow-easy and balanced with soft tannins, lively acidity and a clean, moderately persistent finish.
Food pairings
Pairs well with savoury first courses, white meats, cured meats, rich risottos and semi-aged cheeses. Also excellent as a convivial wine for informal dinners.
