History
Podere Casina is a winery in the rolling hills of Scansano in Maremma Toscana, a region known for its expression of Sangiovese as “Morellino.” The estate focuses on healthy vineyards, controlled yields and production practices that highlight fruit purity and a strong sense of place. The 2024 vintage shows favourable ripening conditions and a bright, transparent aromatic profile.

Hand-harvested grapes fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness and aromatics. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in steel before bottling to maintain its youthful, fruit-forward and rounded character.

Tasting notes
Bright ruby red colour. Aromas of crunchy red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, with floral hints and subtle spice. On the palate: fresh and smooth, soft integrated tannins, good acidity and a clean, inviting finish. A harmonious and easy-drinking wine.
