Description
History
Pojer e Sandri was founded in 1975 by Mario Pojer and Fiorentino Sandri. The very first wine they produced was Palai Müller Thurgau, whose immediate success helped establish the winery as one of Trentino’s most innovative producers. Today the estate farms around 33 hectares between Faedo and the Cembra Valley, combining tradition with cutting-edge viticultural and winemaking techniques.
Grape variety
100% Müller Thurgau.
Vinification
The grapes come from vineyards in the Palai area at 550–750 metres above sea level, planted on silty-calcareous soils over marl and porphyry. Following hand harvesting, the grapes are processed using Pojer e Sandri’s patented hyper-reduction technique, which eliminates oxygen during vinification to preserve the grape’s natural aromas and antioxidants. Fermentation and ageing take place exclusively in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intensely aromatic, revealing notes of lemon, peach, citrus, white flowers and delicate herbal nuances. The palate is fresh, elegant and beautifully balanced, with lively acidity, refined minerality and a long, clean finish.
Food pairings
Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with seafood starters, shellfish, freshwater fish, sushi, herb-based risottos, Mediterranean cuisine and the traditional Trentino dish strangolapreti with butter and sage.
