History
Tenuta La Nascosta is a winery located in the heart of Val d’Orcia, Tuscany. Founded in 2011 by the Mastrojanni family, already known for their experience in Montalcino, the estate stands out for producing wines that combine native and international grapes, maintaining a strong connection to the land.
Grapes used
- 90% Sangiovese
- 10% Merlot
Production method
- Harvest: Manual selection of grapes.
- Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel for 2-3 weeks, followed by maceration for 15-25 days.
- Aging: In 500-liter French and Austrian oak tonneaux for 12-16 months, depending on the vintage.
Alcohol content
- 14% vol.

- Color: Intense ruby red.
- Aroma: Scents of cherry, medicinal herbs, and underbrush, with light spicy and smoky notes.
- Taste: Juicy, contrasting, and flavorful sip, with a solid structure and an airy, fragrant finish.
