Nocino has deep roots in Modenese traditions, handcrafted using walnuts harvested according to centuries-old rituals. Manicardi, a renowned winery known for its dedication to quality and respect for tradition, keeps this cultural heritage alive through the production of its Nocino.

Production method
The green walnuts, traditionally harvested on June 24th, the day of Saint John, are chopped and left to macerate in alcohol. The resulting infusion is enriched with sugar and natural aromas, followed by an aging process that gives the liqueur its distinctive, intense, and harmonious flavor.

Tasting notes
- Color: Dark amber with copper highlights.
- Aroma: Intense notes of walnut husk, complemented by spicy hints of cinnamon and licorice wood.
- Taste: Smooth and enveloping, with a delicate sweetness balanced by a pleasant bitter note. The finish is long and spicy, with excellent persistence.
Possible pairings
Nocino Manicardi is perfect as a digestive at the end of a meal. It pairs beautifully with aged cheeses, such as Parmigiano Reggiano, or can be used to enhance desserts, for example, poured over vanilla or coffee-flavored ice cream.
