Description
History
Nicolas Maillart is an independent grower from the Montagne de Reims who works with deep respect for terroir and traditional Champagne methods. Platine is a Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs crafted from selected Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier vineyards; extended ageing on the lees and zero dosage highlight purity and energy. This Champagne embodies the house’s personal vision of a powerful, saline, structured sparkling wine.

Vinification
Classic method with secondary fermentation in bottle, extended lees ageing to build complexity and texture, and Brut Nature dosage to preserve freshness and fruit purity. The Magnum format allows for even more harmonious ageing than the standard bottle.

Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow with ultra-fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose: ripe citrus, golden apple, fresh bread crust, white flowers and subtle toasted nuances. On the palate: vibrant and balanced, with bright acidity, solid structure and evolving complexity. The finish is long, mineral and savoury with a refreshing lasting impression.
Food pairings
Ideal as an elevated aperitif, pairing beautifully with raw seafood, oysters, sushi, sashimi, white fish carpaccio, delicate risottos, shellfish and soft cheeses. The Magnum format makes it perfect for convivial moments and group tastings.
