Description
History
Mongarda is a winery located in the heart of the Valdobbiadene hills, one of the most esteemed areas for quality Prosecco. The Glera grape thrives on morainic hills with ideal climate and soils that yield delicate aromatics and bright freshness. The Extra Dry style delivers a slightly softer profile compared to Brut, without losing the elegance and sense of place typical of the denomination.
Grape variety
Glera 100%
Vinification
Produced with the Charmat-Martinotti method: fermented in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve varietal aromas and freshness. Secondary fermentation in sealed autoclave followed by refinement ensures fine perlage and a rounded mouthfeel. The calibrated residual sugar in Extra Dry gives a pleasant softness to the palate.
Alcohol content
Approx. 11.5–12%

Pale straw yellow with fine, persistent bubbles. Aromas of apple, pear, white flowers, sweet citrus and hints of exotic fruit. On the palate: balanced softness with lively acidity and a fresh, pleasant finish. The gentle sweetness invites the next sip.
Food pairings
Excellent as an aperitif and with seafood starters, sushi and sashimi, summer salads, shellfish and lightly spiced dishes. Also pairs beautifully with vegetable-based plates, delicate cured meats and fresh cheeses.
